Artifact Donation
Policies
Please read carefully!
1. At this time we are not accepting generic military
uniforms, as we have quite a few at present.
2. If you wish the artifact to have an engraved plate
added to it, please do so before you donate. We will
not pay for engraving.
3. Artifacts will be held on temporary loan until
the Acquisitions Commitee decides to accept or reject
the donation. At this time, if the donation is accepted
we will ask you to fill out a Deed of Gift. This means
that the artifact becomes property of the Foundation,
and they may choose to use the artifact as they deem
appropriate. If rejected, it will be returned immediately.
4. Loans are a way of keeping an artifact in your
possession, while having it on display at the museum.
Loans go through the usual procedures, and if accepted
a Short or Long-Term Form will be filled out. If rejected,
it will be returned immediately.
5. Please consider adding us to your will or estate.
This ensures that your military artifacts will be
taken care of properly, and it enhances the quality
of the museum.
